The terms under which Elite Design Group provides this website and its house-plan products.
1. Acceptance
By using houseplanselite.com or contacting us through it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
2. What we offer
Elite Design Group designs custom and pre-drawn house plans for residential construction. Plans shown on this site are illustrative; actual plans delivered to a buyer may differ based on the specific lot, regional building code, and the buyer's brief discussed during consultation.
3. Plan ownership and licence
All house plans, drawings, renderings, and copy on this site are the intellectual property of Elite Design Group. When you purchase a plan, you receive a single-build licence to use it for one residential structure unless we agree otherwise in writing. You may not:
- Reuse a purchased plan for additional builds without buying additional licences
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the plans
- Use the plans as inputs to derivative designs sold by third parties
4. Consultation matters
The figures shown on this site (bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, style) describe the base plan as drawn. Final dimensions, finishes, and code-compliance requirements depend on your lot, your municipality, and decisions made during consultation. We strongly recommend you book a consultation before treating any displayed figure as final.
5. Builder relationship
We design plans. We don't build the home. Once you have a plan, you engage a licensed contractor and engineer in your jurisdiction to execute it. Elite Design Group is not responsible for construction quality, code compliance as built, contractor performance, or anything that happens on a job site.
6. No warranty on third-party use
Our plans are provided as design documents. We do not warrant that any specific plan will be approved by your local building authority without modification, or that any contractor will execute it correctly. We do warrant that the plans are professionally drafted and that we will reasonably address structural issues we acknowledge are our error within 90 days of delivery.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elite Design Group's liability for any claim arising from your use of this site or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific plan or service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Elite Design Group harmless from any claim arising out of your construction of a building from our plans, including any deviation from the plans as delivered.
9. Site availability
We try to keep the site up and running. We don't guarantee 100% uptime, and we may take it offline for maintenance or updates.
10. Third-party links and content
The site may contain links to third-party services (WhatsApp, Google, etc.). We're not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, NC.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The new date will appear at the bottom of this page when we do.
